Redress: 

Redress is a Hong Kong based NGO with a mission to promote environmental sustainability in Asia’s fashion industry by reducing textile waste, pollution, water and energy consumption. They achieve this by organizing educational sustainable fashion shows, exhibitions, competitions, seminars, research, and media outreach. Redress’ unique profile enables them to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including fashion designers, textile and garment manufacturers, retailers, schools and universities, multilateral organizations, governments, NGOs, financial institutions and media organizations.

รีเดรส (การนำชุดหรือผ้ามาดัดแปลงทำใหม่)
“รีเดรส” เป็นโครงการที่ประเทศฮ่องกงจัดทำร่วมกับองค์กร NGO เพื่อส่งเสริมการประหยัดทรัพยากรธรรมชาติในสาขาแฟชั่นภูมิภาคเอเชีย ซึ่งเป็นการลดเศษผ้า, มลพิษ,รวมถึงประหยัดน้ำและพลังงาน กว่าโครงการนี้จะสำเร็จได้นั้น ต้องผ่านตั้งแต่ขั้นตอนให้ความรู้ จัดนิทรรศการ, การประกวด, สัมมนา, ค้นคว้าจนสามารถที่จะเผยแพร่ผ่านสื่อต่างๆได้ ซึ่งผลงานต่างๆของ “รีเดรส”มีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัว เพราะเกิดจากการประสานงานจากหลายฝ่ายไม่ว่าจะเป็น ผู้ผลิต, ดีไซน์เนอร์,ผู้ค้าปลีก, สถาบันโรงเรียนและมหาวิทยาลัย,องค์กรวัฒนธรรม,รัฐบาล,NGOs,สถาบันการเงิน,และ องค์กรสื่อสาร

About the EcoChic Design Award

The EcoChic Design Award is a sustainable fashion design competition inspiring Asia’s emerging fashion designers to create mass-market clothing with minimal textile waste. Designers are educated with the theory and techniques to enable them to create desirable sustainable clothing via reconstruction, up-cycling and zero waste design techniques. The competition puts Asia’s emerging sustainable design talent in the spotlight, creating a platform for the next generation of designers to break the boundaries of conventional fashion forever.

เกี่ยวกับรางวัล “อีโคชิค”

รางวัลอีโคชิคนั้นเป็นรางวัลที่มอบให้ผู้ชนะการแข่งขันดีไซน์เสื้อผ้าที่สามารถสร้างแรงบันดาลใจในการออกแบบโดยให้มีเศษผ้าเหลือน้อยที่สุด ซึ่งผู้เข้าแข่งขันทุกคนได้รับการอบรมเบื้องต้นเกี่ยวกับเทคนิคในด้านดัดแปลง, รีไซเคิล,และ เทคนิคการออกแบบเพื่อให้ใช้ผ้าได้มากที่สุด การแข่งขันนี้ได้ผลักดันใหัดีไซน์เนอร์รุ่นใหม่มีโอกาสแสดงฝีมือทำให้เกิดการพัฒนาต่อในรุ่นใหม่โดยฉีกจากกฎเกณฑ์เดิมๆเพื่อการเติบโตอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพยิ่งๆขึ้นไป
